For the first 3 full marathons, I followed the novice plan by Higdon. In all 3 races, I had cramp in my calf muscles, but I still managed to finish at around 4h30m. My target was below 5h.

Hi all,
Recently I feel pain on my left foot (3rd & 4th) toe, the pain come only after running for 40min and it will go away if I rest for couple of minutes. wonder anyone have any cure for it.

After running the sundown adidas this year, my left ankle swells and hurts for about a week. It happened again in subsequent half marathon and above. Strangely, it does not happen after long runs.

I've had chronic heel pain for about 7 months now. I've tried a little physio and some remedies of my own design (like anti-inflammatories, ice, rest) but been unsuccessful in getting rid of this.

I broke my leg(tibia & fibula fracture about few inches away from ankle but no surgery) during soccer match 2 weeks after my debut FM at SCM.

I've suffered from achilles tendonitis for about 3 months now, and have mostly recovered save from the "thickening" of the tendon, which is still painful. Plus long runs take still their toll.

In recent posts about the RRAC 8K race, one experienced runner said that she (I think it was a female runner) was exhausted by the 4km mark and had to stop running.
