Missing in action?

There are a few events not reported here which come up on other forums ( I wonder whether the administrators should address this, but anyway):
- Northern District 1k - see long run website]
- Islands Distrct 10k - on Lantau, see their website
- Kadoorie Brothers run - this has been on the calendar for over 20 years, for that reason alone it is worth promoting, just for heritage reasons.

Re: Missing in action?

Northern District is 10km - of course

Re: Missing in action?

Hi ajrunner

This is never our intention to cover all running events big or small. We only provide a platform for runners to share information.

We don't want our users to visit only this website for information about races, and please check out other forums and websites as well. And if you know of any races which are not listed here and you would like to tell other people, you are most welcome to help sharing information here, and this is the way this website works.

We also avoid races which do not publish details in English (The Northern District 10K you mentioned is one of those) because although the majority of our users can read Chinese, for those who can not read Chinese you can imagine the frustration when they click the links and find information they don't understand. I have also spoken to some organisers and asked them to provide race details in English for the benefit of people who can't read Chinese, but some just don't see the need. Having said that, I don't mind users posting races which release details in Chinese only, but please write an brief introduction in English instead of using Chinese characters.
